PYNK Community

Branding and logo design

PYNK is a social collective of professionals, entrepreneurs, artists, performers, families, and friends, of which I am honored to be a part. Initially focused around NYC and Vermont, and now across the country and globe, Pynkers gather in celebration of community, connection, and expression around our hometowns and special valley in Vermont.

Starting in 2015, PYNK put out a call to the community for a logo design. I sketched a few logo concepts myself, collected contributions from all, and coordinated voting for the community to provide collective voice. I was delighted when one of my concepts also resonated with the community—the ‘Eternal PYNK Heart’.

Inspired by ancient endless-knot designs, a continuous thread intertwines with no clear beginning or end. It represents the connection between givers and receivers, the ripple effect of generosity, and the love and support that have always flowed through. PYNK is an interconnected community of givers, and love powers us all—the ‘Eternal PYNK Heart.’

Since its inception, the Eternal PYNK Heart continues beating in our community identity—in art, jewelry, memories, and tattoos, both temporary and permanent.
